nah… limitation for those things should be, that the electric motor only adds like 20% to the power output provided by the cyclist

the loophole is… that there are pedals that must be used in order for the electric motors to kick in… a lot of e-bikes also use the same loophole… as long as the pedals are being used, it is basically a motorcycle (with sometimes insane speeds and acceleration)
