Oh.
hanging brain
The act of pulling one’s scrotum (testicles included) through the opening in one’s pants or shorts
Ah this makes sense; the hanging brain, as opposed to the brain safety stowed away inside ones skull.

The ‘is’ package is a lightweight JavaScript utility library that provides a wide variety of type checking and value validation functions.

I was absolutely sure this was an onion post. Reality is weirder than satire.

buffing_lecturer@leminal.spaceto News@lemmy.world•Americans could see their credit scores fall through floor soon2·14 days agoIt makes sense that your score went down when paying off loans. I have heard that closing accounts, credit lines, and phone plans do the same too. Supposedly because now theres “less history” of your good credit, or maybe just because of lower credit utilization.

That might be an option alongside kdeconnect for the games. I think ps4/xbox one and later both work out of the box over bluetooth. Not sure how it would work in firefox though.

buffing_lecturer@leminal.spaceto Technology@lemmy.zip•Belkin is ending support for nearly all its Wemo smart home devicesEnglish9·24 days agoAround here most folks don’t seem to imply their partners are not good with tech, just that they aren’t excited about a reduced reliability of their home. Maybe this is more of a trope in other online spades. This commenter seems to respect that most people expect the basic functions of their house to work reliably.
“family acceptance factor” “spouse acceptance factor” “I will consider how others feel and how I might affect them”
I think it’s important to be careful around how you refer to your partner, especially if they are of a marginalized group. I just don’t think this commenter was being disrespectful.
buffing_lecturer@leminal.spaceto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does anybody else understand they need to make deep connections with people but their social battery has been dead for a while and can't put up with people's BS?4·24 days agoSometimes mindfulness is more of a soft awareness. Not really thinking or knowing about anything in particular.
I also don’t like how it’s used, because I have the same problem as you describe. It reminds me of trying to maintain a stoic perspective, being non-intellectually aware of sensations in your body, and trying to focus on what you can control.
Thanks! Love you ;)
