Back then you needed a physical publisher. There were trash games but there weren’t thousands of them getting released every month.

Also my steam recs are full of shovelware games. But Steam’s never had a good recommendation engine so that doesn’t surprise me.

I’m not assuming we’ll win but I also don’t believe that fearmongering works well on Dem voters. I saw a study a while back that showed that Dem and independent voters respond much more strongly to positive messaging than negative messaging. So I really don’t buy that scaring and stressing people out works.

Trump supporters are also less likely to show up for a midterm, but they conveniently left that truth out of their clickbait.

There are also way, way more shit games you need to wade through to find the good ones. The vast majority of indie games are still shovelware garbage.
