Yeah, “libertarian” in common parlance in America is just another word for “selfish asshole”. At least anarchists want everyone to be in it together. “Libertarians” just want it all for themselves and fuck everyone else. John Galt worshipping assholes the lot of them.
Considering what happened with J6, the Mueller Report, and the dozens of other red lines that have been crossed and just shrugged off in a few news cycles, this would just be adding to the list of things that our society has tacitly played😭. Hope for justice and accountability, but I have doubts now.
This is a good point. It’s almost better that it hasn’t been released since the MAGA revolt appears to be from the idiot section that buys into conspiracy theories, not as much the conscious soul-selling for power section (i.e. the people who were to dumb to already know he was a creep vs the people who 100% knew and just didn’t care so they could win).
Mueller report not moving the needle was the moment I realized we were good and truly fucked and truth didn’t matter anymore. Clearly documented obstruction of justice and nothing came of it.

I queued with two guys in a video game Wednesday morning who spouted that line. I was taken aback. How do you effectively respond to someone who says that? I didn’t handle it well, but I have thought about it a lot since it happened. I remember playing with shock humor when I was in high school, but that is beyond the pale.
Seems like it does exist though. I don’t particularly get it, but there is apparently an audience for it. I hope they continue to grow if it pulls “independents” and the conspiratorial right to be a new conspiratorial left, that’s not bad on it’s face.
