You know they’re shitting themselves. Progressive successes pose more of a threat to incumbent Democrats than Republican successes
One side has all of the power and uses it to make elections illegal 🤷
Israel has not allowed any elections in Gaza since 2006* FTFY
😴 you tried. People aren’t that stupid lol and your bad-faith argument is easily spotted a mile away
it seems too flimsy
Okay, then the cops will have no problem proving you were elsewhere at the time, if its a lie. Until they’ve proved it and convinced a jury of that, you’re 100% innocent.
Seriously, it’s not your concern as a defendent to prove your innocence. If they can’t prove you’re lying about such a flimsy alibi, then what kind of case could they possibly have against you anyway?
You attempted to troll. You received a minor amount of downvotes and backlash. 🤷 If you don’t like that people on Lemmy are reasonable, you can just stop using Lemmy.
The commenter is still completely wrong, then. In that case there is no due process and you’re just guilty because people with guns say so.
Wrong, that’s the opposite of how reasonable doubt works. It is the prosecutor’s job to prove beyond doubt that the defendent is guilty of the charges. The defendent does not need to prove they are innocent.
If the prosecutor can’t prove that the defendent is lying about the alibi, then they’ve failed at their job.
I find the pouches really easy to quit cold turkey, so there’s not really a need to ween off once you’ve switched to them. It does suck for the first day not using them, but by day 3 I’ve completely forgotten they exist. Totally different experience quitting pouches vs a vape.
I’ve quit and picked up the habit several times, mainly because they’re so easy to quit that I don’t see a huge harm in using. I wouldn’t touch a vape again because it was such an effort and pain to quit.
Also nicotine isn’t a carcinogen (tobacco is), and nicotine pouches are not linked to any cancer risk.

Nicotine is as harmful as caffeine and marginally more addictive.
