Not gunna lie. Cheap ass Mac and cheese with some actual butter(assuming you have that much) is like way up there in the on the “ACCEPTABLE” chart for me. I sometimes throw in a can of Rotel and/or some cheap chorizo for a little taste of home.
My fancy boxed mac n cheese mix is mixing the powder sauce with smoked Gouda and Parmesan. Real butter. Mixing it into the cooked pasta. Then adding sauted brussel sprouts and some parsley onto it.
Not really. But if people are complaining about eating out a dog bowl, their situation may be worse than ours. I know I used vegetable oil before in college. It’s serviceable, but don’t recommend it

I make ramen like this, drain the water, add butter, seasoning pack, and sriracha. So good.
Sounds like something I’m going to experiment with today!
Is butter that expensive in the US? Where I live it’s only a bit more than margarine.
