There was an SVU/LAW AN Order episode about similar situation, the guy was “tracking the wife” whom he injected her with some kind of rfid chip without her noticeing while she slept and she got an infeciton from that, and he tried to secretly treat her with antibiotics without her noticing, turns out it dint work, because (you need to be properly told how long and how much to take).

Also it could be painful or dangerous for her depending on what other meds she is taking / drinks wine / etc.
Eh, I have self-medicated with antibiotics before and it worked fine. Of course you can fuck it up, but that’s not guaranteed.
