Hello again! Another Build from the A Sharp Miner server! I was tempted to post the entire build progress, but since that’s like a dozen images, I thought that might be a bit much. This is not 100% complete, as the interior is still in progress and I may still tweak the outside a bit, but it’s “thumbnail” ready as far as I’m concerned.
I can post interiors later if you guys want. :)
[edit] You guys asked for it!

The entrance as viewed from my base’s south gate (the primary one)

The first floor is a lounge area, with various amenities for visitors. This is still in 1.21.10 so not having cushions is…painful, NGL.

I understand server etiquette!

It’s Unisex. Whatever. Just wash your hands after!

Casual discussions, hang-outs, chill vibes. You get the idea.

SNACKS. You best believe it’s stocked!! Cookies, pies, wattah mellone, lava chicken, all the good stuff!

An overview of my base. Yes, those are actual, functional farms.

No Welcome Center worth its salt is complete without an Info Kiosk. Here’s mine. Has a list of farms and amenities at my base, some simple rules which amount to “Don’t touch my shit if it’s in my actual house, and my (specific) Horses are off limits, but otherwise ‘Mi casa, su casa,’” and a little blurb about what inspired me to build this way. It also lists the other farms I built for the server.

On Floor 2 we have a meeting room/banquet hall not much to say here. Has some nice art, and I used ascii art to get the hardware on the buffet tables.

Floor 3 is the Auditorium and Public address space. Perfect for more important gatherings, open mic nights, or concerts. The shaders I use don’t really work well with banner gradients, but the lighting was too good to pass up. The server uses the microblocks from wandering trader mod, so I was able to get this chunk of polished deepslate to make a rather believable microphone!

I kept the upper floor a bit minimalistic because I figure that it would best facilitate large gatherings by not having clutter everywhere.
Damn. That’s cool as hell. This just tells me I need to use my imagination more lol.
That one glass block is too far right.
Username is accurate.
Not like the comm in drowning in traffic. Post em all I say.
I can post interiors later if you guys want. :)
Please do. I’m about to go offline for a bit but would love to ask you about your process, especially planning, etc.
I build on Vibes mostly. The idea to build a large sphere just kind of happened as I wanted my home to be sort of a mad scientist/wizard renovates a Gothic mansion “thing,” and I guess I kind of thought (subconsciously) that one of those plasma balls stuck on the back would be something a mad scientist/wizard would do. Then I got the bright idea to make it house my beacon for that extra accuracy to the lore. It ended up looking so good I just kind of riffed on the format for other builds in the base.
Cheers appreciate the insightful reply!
I’ve seen huge gallery posts on Lego, and those are all well received. So, go for it.
Looks stunning, especially the dusk screenshot
