There’s a whole thing out here where they do a kind of wedding reenactment just for the photos (either on the beach or in churches—I knew of churches that made over a $1m a year just from these photo shoots). Since the one-two punch of Covid and Trump a lot of this has diminished. But OP’s post is something that has likely happened more than once out here.
