Inception Point AI CEO Jeanine Wright told the Hollywood Reporter that “people who are still referring to all AI-generated content as AI slop are probably lazy luddites.”

Fellas, is it lazy to do your own work instead of outsourcing it to the slop machine?

Working in general is lazy. Labor is for people too lazy to be CEOs. You could be hanging from your bootstraps already.

She’s acting like an LLM; just stringing words together in a grammatically plausible way, with no regard for what the words actually mean.

The luddites were proud artisans pushed too far by capitalists refusing to negotiate in good faith and governments refusing to take measures to ensure that technology was deployed in a pro-social fashion. So, yeah I suppose we are.

Other clankers review it for accuracy of course, way faster than humans ever could.

Don’t worry no one will notice any minor, major, or biased mistakes. My system prompt specifically instructs agents towards my understanding of the truth.

I’m extremely okay with being labeled a luddite. I occasionally refer to myself as such.

I thought it was some kind of slur for the longest time I won’t lie. If it’s to begin being one I’ll happy get slurred out

I was very against the word, and hated if someone would call me that, until I’ve learned what they actually were and why did they do their acts.

I have a picture of luddites smashing looms on my bench at work. It’s one of the first things a tour would see as they walk through.

The guy who’s name is on the front of my building often leads those tours.

I am absolutely a proud Luddite. The proper, historical ones, not the straw Luddites of the ignorant set.

As someone who uses technology everyday for just about everything I am not a Luddite. I simply reject the low quality products and contents this new breed of techbro wants to shove down my throat.

Historical Luddites weren’t even anti-technology. They were anti dangerous, shoddy machines that produced low quality fabrics so cheaply that artisans were pushed out of the market.

So the terminology is actually cuite fitting.

I have invented an innovative Shit-Force-Feeding Machine.

Because it’s an innovative invention, anybody who refuses to use that machine or criticizes it is against Innovation, or in other words, a Luddite.

They say the opposite of hate isn’t love, but apathy. I’m going to put that to the test by completely ignoring whatever this is.
