Midterms are more than half a year away and they already start normalizing the narrative of the next ‘big steal’. Until November they will have convinced their base that a democrat win would solely be based of the Reps not being allowed to cheat the election (which is somewhat true but you know how they’ll mean it).
Good luck hoping for the outcome to be an non-violent end of Trumps presidency.

Aber aufpassen: Man kann auch einfach Geld investieren um die Definition von ,Armut" zu ändern. Mit der dritten Welt verglichen gibt es hier vermutlich keine Armen… und somit auch keinen Grund Vermögenssteuer zu zahlen.
Beim neusten Vorstoß des ,CDU-Wirtschaftsrats" bekommt man den Eindruck, dass genau das das Ziel ist: Die dort orgnaisierten Gruppen wissen ganz geau, dass die Foderungen niemals von der CDU umgesetzt werden… aber man schadet der CDU und ihrem Wahlergebnis bei der nächsten Wahl erheblich. Der Gewinner: Die AfD… die im Gegensatz zur CDU tatsächlich verkommen genug ist solche Vorschläge umszusetzen sollte sie jemals in der Position sein das zu entscheiden.

Over all it seems like ‘the nordic model’ doesn’t make prostiution disappear but reduces its general visibility… rather to the worse for men and women working (or being forced to worked) in this profession.
Imho: This was forceable… declaring things illegal doesn’t make them disappear, being it postitution (for which the efffort was made many times in history) or e.g. alcohol.

Given the current ‘success’ of protests against Trump Inc. I highly doubt there will be a point in the near future were enough Americans can be mobilized to actually achieve something even if the elections are skipped… they’ll come for the active opposition leads (identifiable by the stock pile of data they process) first framing them as terrorists. The remains will have to wait till this admin as inevitably turned the whole country so shitty a majority is actually ready to leave their comfort zone.
Currently protest are as effective as ‘strongly worded letters’ as both rely on the addressee to actually give a fuck about the sender.
I know I’m being pessimistic here, and God knows I hope I’m wrong… but the last few months, watching the “land of the free, home of the brave” turn into a hyper-corrupt dictatorship without any significant resistance, have made me very sober.

Invest in local politicians election campaign through official or unofficial ‘donations’.
Shape the public opinion by buying a few (or all, if possible) influential media outlets.
Accuse every other party if being dishonest (there’s always some dirt to be found) and portray ‘your’ politicians as only solution.
Once your representatives are in power max out your influence on economics and media while you rely on the rule of law to protect your assets from the opposition if they accidentally come back to power.
