6 hours agoI agree with you if she has a bad voting record overall. This vote alone is meaningless. The point was to get it on record. An impeachment hearing would do more harm than good, knowing full well we don’t have the votes for removal.

Nah. Al Green and Shri Thanedar’s articles were filed and shelved in the same day as well. They’re just doing it to have them on record. It’s a waste of Senate floor time when they would be conducting oversight hearings, challenging provisions in Republican bills, and collecting the information needed for the ACLU to take these cases to the courts.
Despite the constant criticism, people who watch CSPAN are fully aware of how Democrats are using every last second of their floor time to challenge this regime.

I was referring to Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa aka: Abu Mohammad al-Jawlani. I read that he was directly responsible for the attacks when the video first released. Now there’s more information available, and it appears he just inspired and cheered for them.
