In the real world there’s plenty of marxist-leninist organisations in the west that do take action. One might wonder why these groups are cracked down on viciously as soon as they get any traction, while this “just vote for progressives” idealism has been allowed to flourish for decades now.

People join and support groups that take real action. Take the houthis for example. MLs by comparison can’t even fill out a ballot.
