    Could be that it was “bad” enough a doctor thought it could have something to do with the diagnosis.

      I once had a psychiatrist write that I was wearing “gender neutral clothing” in the sentence after stating I was “currently undergoing gender re-assignment from male to female”. I was wearing a pretty feminine sweater, skinny jeans and doc martens. It was hard not to see it as a dig at the fact I wasn’t wearing a dress or skirt, which is something that’s absolutely used to gatekeep trans women from transition related healthcare.

      Ehhh maybe. Sounds to me like remnants of boomer culture of somehow the way another person dresses is a personal affront to them.
