Another complaint — for which there was no contact information provided — alleged that “calendar girls” parties at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago involved genital measurements for children.

“Jeffrey Epstein would bring the children in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children’s vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness,” the complaint reads.

Something is not right, this pedo organized crime with links to foreign countries and intelligence must have damining evidence, not only texts and photos but also a full audio / video evidence of crimes. Otherwise the entire operation would be useless.

Additionally, Considering they are using the email casually like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if these files are hosted on tech giant service. Maybe that why they got their foot into the administration.

What Musk was trying to do with doge must also been related.

Anyway, to the American, good luck fighting Iran because if that war started, even if Trump impeachment happened, and Democrat win house and office, there will be no stop to it…

Well there are 3 million more files that have not been released but which Trump’s personal lawyer / Deputy AG Todd Blanche just stated do exist.

      https://www.cnbc.com/2026/01/30/jeffrey-epstein-files-doj.html

"We’re releasing more than 3 million pages today, and not the 6 million pages that we collected,” Blanche said. “That means that the department produced approximately 3½ million pages in compliance with the act.”

Yep, yep, nothing to see here, just uh 3 million files that aren’t relevant, because the people in charge of the most obvious cover up in human history say so.

      Yep.

      Seems legit!

please end pedo, rapist patriarchy capitalism asap. this is a cruel world as long as these power issues are not fully dismantled.

to all of those who haven’t read much on how patriarchy and capitalism go hand in hand I am begging you to inform yourself.

not asking anyone to become a feminist. but I noticed people act all surprised when men in power with severe personality disorders use their power to rape and torture the poor and weak.

this is and has been a systemic issue for a very long time and being informed on this fully can help us create a better world.

stay informed I love you humans.

Everyone should “become a feminist” though, if they aren’t…

If someone is of the false belief propogated by those in power that “feminism” has to do with female superiority, or something, they should be quickly disabused of that asinine psyop.

To be a feminist is simply acknowledging patriarchal power structures and wanting equality among genders.

This was mentioned at the time of the story of the lake. The Epstein files include also the unverified tips to the FBI.

The strategy here is they are slowly releasing outlandish and unverified accusations first, slowly so that people start debating “is it true? Is it false?”

These are realistically all false (and this is the point) so when the real, verified, documented things will come out

    1. They will sound minor
    2. People that were invested (at the time realistically) in saying these are false, will keep in saying that are false.

The Bunba story, for example, now seems small and fake (while it was mentioned by people that were there not like this BS that was tipped by some idiot anonymously on internet)

In other words these are all attempts to discredit the Epstein files.

And based on a lot of conversations here… it seems that they are successful (and the average Lemmy user has waaay more critical sense than, let’s say, Facebook user)

I have no idea how you’re deciding they’re all false. I can see that you’re deciding to believe that Trump has any decency over victims… Which I just don’t understand. These stories are extremely similar, span many years, and include dozens of victims… What is convincing you that Trump didn’t have child sex auctions??

Sounds like they probably should have been a little bossier. This is i credibly serious stuff and they just let it move at a snail’s pace? And what, it was so important and they were so sure they’d win the next election? The next election where they had momentum, realized it was because of progressive messaging and appealing to younger voters, and then tanked the whole thing with center-right branding because they haye winning?

No matter how you slice it it was weak bullshit.

In principle, the Dept of Justice is meant to be completely independent of the White House. The point is to have a federal entity concerned with the law over politics. If they are failing to actually prosecute the law, then a change in leadership is needed, but as far as which specific cases to.pursuw to pursue and how, that should be separate from whichever person/party is in power.

Edit: just the typo that’s struck-through and retyped.

Yes, the president appoints and fires the attorney general. However, unlike most subordinates, the attorney general is meant to execute the role without direction from the president, according to their own expertise and judgment.

Since the attorney general may have just cause to pursue legal action against members of the administration and/or allies of the president, and since those people should not be rendered immune to prosecution based on their association with the president, it is necessary for the health of our whole government system that the attorney general act independently. If they fail to perform that job, the president should replace them - and that is a choice that should never be made lightly, as there is a gigantic potential conflict of interest.

Let me lead by saying I 100% think Trump is a pedo fuck and deserves to rot in jail.

But the reason why there isn’t talk about an actual conviction from the most sensationalist stuff in the Epstein files is that the most sensationalist stuff all comes from tips or reports given to the FBI or other law enforcement. They haven’t been proven. Nobody wants to hear that because it’s less exciting than reading a headline about how Trump is measuring child vaginas with his finger. It only takes a little bit more effort (actually reading articles rather than headlines) to find out that most of this stuff isn’t in a situation where it could be used in court to convict him currently.
